My rear garden perimeter fence was in dire need of replacement, but I’d become disheartened by the response from the fencing contractors I’d contacted for quotes. Of the five or six I’d contacted, only three bothered to reply, and only two actually turned up to give me a price… and they were far too expensive anyway!
A friend of mine suggested I contact “Merv”, at Wilby Landscapes… He’s a landscaper, but he also does fencing.
What a difference!… Such an amiable character. He got back to me swiftly, turned up when he said he would, answered all my questions, gave me all the advice I needed, and subsequently, provided me with a detailed quote for the work, at a reasonable price too!..
It was easy to accept the proposal, and the work started a few weeks later. Unsurprisingly, they’re a busy firm !
They turned up when they said, even though it was pouring with rain all day, and made great progress. The work was done in a few days, and it looked fabulous. There was very little mess, even though my old fence disintegrated when it was taken down, as they tidied the area as they worked.
The finished product is now not only safe, and secure, it also looks great as well. Even neighbours and passers-by commented on the work.
